Creativity may be everywhere, but community arts and cultural activities tend to happen where there are good spaces and creators feel welcome to produce.  This webinar will help you identify and design outdoor spaces that support cultural professionals, organizations and ecosystems.

Meet the instructor

Leonardo Vazquez, AICP/PP

Leo is a community economic development planner, creative place maker, planning educator, and author. Leonardo is the recipient of the Paul Davidoff award for his work on social justice and has produced award-winning community plans in his home state of New Jersey.

The organizations he has led have positively advanced the philosophy of sustainability and community resilience through the strategic engagement of local arts, culture, artists, and culture bearers.

 His influential work has led to numerous new projects, programs, partnerships, and policies in multiple communities around the United States.
